Sleep is one of the foundations of health which is why I love working with it. I love getting my sleep and know how much it affects my cognition, mood, and functioning if I get poor quality sleep or not enough sleep. Poor sleep can cause many other health conditions including hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases, depression, anxiety, metabolic syndrome, neurological diseases, and hormone imbalances. It can also be dangerous if you are driving or working at a job that requires your full attention. If you have to travel to other time zones a lot for work or work a night shift I can help you with solutions for scheduling and optimizing your sleep. If you have been told that you snore or kick a lot in your sleep and don't feel refreshed in the morning I can provide solutions for diagnosis and treatment. If you are a student or parent and have deadlines to meet but feel like you have a hard time concentrating because of lack of sleep or anxiety I can help you with solutions to help you fall asleep and improve your sleep quality so you feel refreshed during the day.
